Cow Sahay Yojana Gujarat

Plans for natural agriculture of the soul are working on Ikhedut. Various schemes have also been implemented for the farmers of the state to increase their natural farming. Natural farming is the use of cow dung and cow urine to increase crop growth and production at low cost. For which a new scheme was issued by the Government of Gujarat in the year 2020-21. In which assistance will be given for native cows.

Purpose of Desi Gai Sahay Yojana

The main objective is to encourage farmers in Gujarat to engage in natural farming. Indigenous cow dung and cow urine are required for natural farming. Thereby increasing soil moisture storage capacity, fertility and productivity. For this purpose, the scheme has been implemented to increase the conservation of native cows and increase environmental and human health through natural farming. So that the desi cow dependent will be given assistance to the farming family doing full natural farming.

Benefits available under Desi Gay Sahay

The Department of Animal Husbandry will provide assistance to the farmers who are engaged in full natural farming based on native cows. The farmer family will be given an annual limit of Rs.900 / - (Rs.10800 / - per month) for maintenance cost for one cow.

Maintenance expenses will be paid at the rate of Rs.900 / - per month for the available period of the quarter from the date of application approval.

Every three months, the certificate of survival of the cow including tag and the beneficiary doing natural agriculture will have to be submitted to the gram sevak. Based on which quarterly assistance will be given.

The next quarterly assistance will be discontinued for those who have received assistance for cows and are found not to be engaged in natural agriculture.

Eligibility of farmer beneficiary to get native cow assistance

The scheme is implemented by Krushi ane Sahkar Vibhag. The farmer should have the following qualifications to avail the benefits of this scheme.

The applicant must have a native cow with a farmer identification tag.

The farmer should be from Gujarat state.

These schemes will benefit small, large, marginal SC, ST, General and other farmers of Gujarat.

Beneficiary farmers get benefit if they have land or forest rights record.

Beneficiary farmer should be doing natural farming with native cow dung urine.

Preference will be given to farmers engaged in natural agriculture and if they fulfill the conditions through a master trainer prepared after the training.

Under this scheme, one beneficiary will be eligible for assistance as per Account Form No. 8-A.

The applicant farmer should have received training from master trainers of natural agriculture.

For the maintenance of desi and gir cows running on ikhedut portal, one has to fill up an online form of financial assistance scheme. Which will require the following document.

Copy of farmer's ikhedut portal 8-a

Copy of farmer's Aadhaar card

Certificate if the farmer is SC and ST (if applicable)

Copy of farmer's ration card

Certificate of Disability for a Handicapped Farmer (if applicable)

The farmer should have desi gir, kankraj and other desi cows.

Desi cows should be tagged cows.

Consent form of other farmer in 7-12 and 8-A land in case of joint account holder

Details if the soul has registration

Copy of bank account

Information if a member of a co-operative society

Information if a member of the Milk Producers Association

દેશી ગાય સહાય યોજનાનો લાભ મેળવવા માટે ઓનલાઈન અરજી કરવાની રહેશે. આ યોજનાનો લાભ લેવા માટે ખેડૂત લાભાર્થીઓએ તા 30/09/2021 થી 19/10/2021 સુધી અરજી કરી શકશે. ત્યારબાદ ઓનલાઈન અરજી કરવાની પ્રક્રિયા બંધ થશે.
