"Poppy" Poppy is a substance that is used not only in food but also in some medicines.  In today's article we will show you how poppy eliminates our physical problems. 

We will tell you about its different ways, how to use it, how much to use, its advantages, and a few disadvantages.  But before that, let's get some important information about this poppy.

What is poppy?

Poppy is a kind of seed.  Also known as poppy seeds in English.  It is obtained from the tree named Poppy and there are 5 types

Green Poppy: - We can distinguish it from European Poppy.  This is because it is overused in bread, sweets, and chocolates.

White Poppy: - As it is widely used in India, it is known as Indian Poppy.

The benefits of poppy for the body are many.  Poppy helps in relieving constipation.  Like small seeds, this substance is rich in calories, protein, fat, fiber, calcium, and iron. Poppy is also used in skin problems and hair problems.

Cleanses the skin: -

Mix two teaspoons of poppy seeds with four teaspoons of curd and rub it on the face and massage.  This paste will work as a scrub.  And cleanses the skin and makes it glow, the benefits of eating poppy seeds.


Improves vision: -

Poppy seeds are high in zinc.  As you grow older, your eyesight becomes weaker.  Then if we consume this poppy which is rich in zinc, we can avoid eye diseases.

Makes the brain brighter: -

The benefits of poppy for brain development are not insignificant.  Nutrients such as calcium, iron, and copper found in poppy seeds have been shown to be very useful in brightening the brain.  The calcium in poppy seeds balances neuronal function, and enhances memory.


Also useful for treating stones: -

Poppy seeds can be very beneficial for people suffering from stones.  This is because some studies have found that excess calcium increases the risk of gallstones.  The use of poppy seeds in it maintains the amount of calcium in the body.  And the likelihood of stones being reduced.

Beneficial in thyroid: -

Also removes scabs: -

Make a good paste of one teaspoon of steeped poppy seeds with two teaspoons of yoghurt and half a teaspoon of white pepper.  Apply this paste on the hair follicles.  Shampoo after half an hour.  Can be used twice a week for best results.

Increases digestion: -

Poppy seeds can be used to treat stomach related problems like gas, constipation.  Poppy seeds are rich in fiber. There are definite benefits if it is consumed regularly. 

Beneficial in Diabetes - Special Benefits: -

A person suffering from diabetes can consume poppy seeds.  Poppy seeds are rich in fiber, which works well in TYPE ૨ diabetes.  Poppy seeds are also rich in magnesium.  Magnesium deficiency is said to increase the risk of developing diabetes. Using poppy seeds may be beneficial for you.

Moisturizes the skin: -

Mix 2 teaspoons poppy seeds in 1/2 cup milk and make a good paste.  Be sure to grind the paste until it becomes sticky and apply it on the face for ten minutes and then wash off with cold water, khaskhas na fayda.

Helps to increase body temperature: -

Poppy seeds may have a cold effect, but the carbohydrate-like substances in them help a lot in raising your body temperature.  You can consume poppy seeds for energy and balance in our body, the benefits of eating poppy seeds.

Beneficial in constipation problem - special benefits: -

Poppy seeds are eaten to cure complex problems like constipation.  Poppy seeds are rich in fiber.  And the most important element to keep our digestive system active is fiber.  Which we get from poppy.  Fiber softens the stool, and helps with bowel movements.

For the process of breathing: -

The zinc in poppy seeds plays an important role here.  Eliminates inflammation in the trachea.  Zinc is considered to be important for the health of the lungs.  The benefits of poppy seeds in the treatment of asthma.

Hair grows, hair stops falling off: -

You may be wondering what these tiny seeds are doing in hair problems?  But yes poppy can be used in hair related problems.  Poppy seeds are rich in vitamin E.  Therefore, it has the property of preventing hair loss.

All you have to do is make a poppy paste and apply it to the hair.  To make a paste, mix one teaspoon of onion paste in 1/4 cup of coconut milk, add 2 teaspoons of poppy seeds and keep it for one hour.

Then make a good paste and apply it on the hair and leave it in the hair for one hour.  And then wash your hair with any ayurvedic shampoo. Trying this recipe increases hair growth. You can use this two to three times a week.


Eczema and swelling: -

Poppy seeds are rich in linoleic acid.  Which eliminates acid eczema and inflammation.

For this you need to take 2 to 3 teaspoons of poppy seeds and steep it in water for three to four hours.
