ગુજરાત સરકારમાં ફરજ બજાવતા પ્રાથમિક શિક્ષકો છેલ્લા ઘણાં વર્ષોથી બદલીની રાહ જોઈ રહ્યા છે. પ્રાથમિક શિક્ષકોના બદલી કેમ્પ કેટલાક વર્ષોથી ઓનલાઈન કરવામાં આવે છે. બદલીના નિયમોમાં કેટલીક વિસંગતતાઓને લઈને શિક્ષકો દ્વારા કેટલાક કોર્ટ કેસો કરવામાં આવેલ હતા. જેને કારણે પ્રાથમિક શિક્ષકોની બદલીના નિયમોમાં ફેરફાર કરવાની જરૂરિયાત ઉભી થઇ હતી. 

ગુજરાત રાજ્યના પ્રાથમિક શિક્ષકોની બદલીના નવા નિયમો બનાવવા માટે રાજ્ય સરકાર દ્વારા એક કમિટી બનાવવામાં આવી હતી. આ કમિટીની ૫ જેટલી બેઠકો મળી હતી. આ બેઠકોને અંતે બદલીના નિયમોનો ડ્રાફ્ટ તૈયાર કરવામાં આવ્યો છે. 

રાજ્ય સરકારની મંજુરી બાદ ટૂંક સમયમાં જ પ્રાથમિક શિક્ષકોની બદલીના નિયમો જાહેર કરવામાં આવનાર છે.
